We Can't Expect Someone Else To Do It For Us (A Must Read!)

We have a bill (Senate Bill 1360) that is on the records that will give doctors more freedom to treat Lyme patients without fear of being reprimanded or shut down by the medical board. Please, take an hour to email and call all your representatives offices. This could make a difference in all of our lives. Imagine the doors that would be opened if this bill is passed--more doctors, more research, more treatments!!!

Unfortunately, we are going to have to bombard them with emails and phone calls in order to bring this bill to their attention--my father spend 3 hours emailing, faxing, and calling many of the representatives of the state of Texas; Perry Fields, US track runner who has Lyme, is going to post my request on her next newsletter; I am going to call all the as many Senators as I can; Patti is calling and email all the Senators; and we are both trying to get the word out. Can you help us? Many have spoken to Senators that are on the health committee that weren't even aware that this bill was coming down the pike. This is the time to stand up and make a difference.
