Our bill to establish protections for medical practitioners treating Lyme and other tick-borne diseases is making great progress!
The Texas Senate committee met on (SB 1360 by Harris) on April 26, 2011, around 6:30 pm, for a Public Hearing in the Senate Health and Human Services Committee by Chair Jane Nelson. It seemed to have been received well. They still need to vote it to the Senate floor. Continue to write and call.

Contact the Texas House reps on the Public Health Committee by Chair Lois Kolkhorst in regards to HB 2975 by Hunter. A public hearing was held for a today, Wednesday, April 27, 8:00 am.
Now both the Senate and Representatives will go back to the lobbyist, those that have the money, to get their take on the bills
