Welcome Mary H. Barnes as she speaks to the North Texas Lyme Support Group on Saturday, April 16, 11 am-12:30 pm. The topic of discussion will be "In Pursuit of Optimal Health".
Mary is a Lyme disease and Mold survivor. She has battled a variety of chronic health issues and has transitioned from near disability to living a full life that includes raising two teenage sons and working full-time as a professional engineer leading the research and development. You won't want to miss this!

Mary is a Lyme disease and Mold survivor. She has battled a variety of chronic health issues and has transitioned from near disability to living a full life that includes raising two teenage sons and working full-time as a professional engineer leading the research and development of future Internet technologies for real-time applications such as voice and video. In her spare time, she pursues her passion for cycling as well as sharing her knowledge and experiences with others in the hope that they can also achieve Mary's profession credentials include a BS from the University of Virgina School of Engineering and Applied Science. Mary applies her professional training and work experience to the analysis of medical research and science relating a variety of chronic health issues including biotoxin illnesses, autoimmune thyroid disease, Celiac and Lyme disease. One key area of expertise is correlating the medical research identifying the genetic factors that influence these chronic illnesses. She has been educated in the treatment of Lyme disease, mold illnesses, infectious diseases and Celiac disease, as well as nutrition and the pursuit of optimal health by attending various CME certified medical conferences, as well as through self-study. Mary is the owner/moderator of Yahoo health groups for Thyroid disease (Texas, Washington, Arizona and Florida state groups), as well asDFW Lyme and Celiac/food intolerances.
